Tornado Damage Reported in Bartlesville

A large and destructive tornado tore through the cities of Barnsdall and Bartlesville early Saturday morning, causing significant damage and injuries. According to News on 6's Erin Conrad, who witnessed the devastation firsthand, the tornado uprooted trees, toppled power lines, and destroyed homes.
Bartlesville police are currently working 12-hour shifts to assist in the cleanup and recovery efforts. Both Barnsdall and Bartlesville are reporting widespread damage and are asking residents to stay out of affected areas for safety reasons.
The tornado is just one of many that touched down in central and northeast Oklahoma on Saturday morning. Other reported touchdowns include areas near Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The storms left behind a trail of destruction, including downed trees, damaged buildings, and power outages.
