Asensio and Militão Goals Secure Victory
Real Madrid moved back to the top of the La Liga table on Saturday with a hard-fought 2-0 win away at Getafe.
Marco Asensio gave the visitors the lead with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box in the first half. Éder Militão then doubled the advantage with a towering header from a Luka Modric corner after the break.
Getafe pushed for a way back into the game but were unable to find a way past a resolute Real Madrid defence.
The win takes Real Madrid two points clear of second-placed Sevilla, who have a game in hand.
