How to Uninstall Escape from Tarkov
Running the Official Uninstaller
If you cannot find Escape from Tarkov in your Programs and Features list, click on SETTINGS in the drop-down menu under your profile picture in the bottom-left corner of the desktop. Select the Apps and Features menu and scroll down the list of installed applications until you find Escape from Tarkov. Click on it and select Uninstall.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the game's installation directory and locate the uninstaller executable named uninstall.exe. Double-click it to launch the uninstallation process.
Manual Removal
If neither of the above methods works, you may need to manually remove Escape from Tarkov. To do this, follow these steps:
- Delete the game's installation directory, which is typically located at C:\Program Files\Escape from Tarkov.
- Delete the following registry keys:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Battlestate Games\Escape from Tarkov
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Battlestate Games\Escape from Tarkov
- Empty the Recycle Bin to permanently remove the game files.
Note
Before manually removing Escape from Tarkov, it is recommended to back up your game saves. These saves are typically stored in the C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\Escape from Tarkov folder.
